I picked up a rather large, clumsy-looking leaf on the way back from dinner tonight. It, for some odd reason, appealed to me. It's neither green, nor red, nor yellow, but a brownish-greenish hodgepodge with holes and rips on either side, and tips curled up and down. It's not a terribly pretty leaf. It twirled, the wind rushing through its holes, snaking its way from top to underneath. The leaf was transfigured, the light joining in with the wind.
