I can't stomach the glory of it all. I just can't. It's too good. Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.

This week we can identify with the Lord each step of the way from the Mount of Olives to Calvary. When it comes to the resurrection, the imagination boggles, yet it is the centre of our faith. Lord, teach me to love my face and body, my temple of the Holy Spirit. It will grow old and die with me, but that is not the end. My body is sacred, and Easter opens a window for it and me onto a mysterious but endless vista.

I'm so thankful for friendships: most specifically, the friendships I've made in such short spaces of time in a tiny corner of the state of New York and, on the other hand, in the ultra-cosmopolitan London. My friends are beautiful. Created in the image of God, this image redeemed and being redeemed in them, reflections of His glory, as fragments of a grand stained glass window all together bring in Light. It's really quite astonishing.

How do we humans, as relational beings, make connections? And why are they so fragile?

So, CHOOSE today and each day. CHOOSE to embrace life, CHOOSE to believe there is purpose in everything, CHOOSE with passionate determination to hold to TRUTH ~ God is GOOD and He is working for your best, CHOOSE to step out of your comfort zone and bless someone else, CHOOSE to continue to give your best and CHOOSE to rest & be satisfied in that.

The great mystery of God's love is that we are not asked to live as if we are not hurting, as if we are not broken. In fact, we are invited to recognize our brokenness as a brokenness in which we can come in touch with the unique way that God loves us. The great invitation is to live your brokenness under the blessing. I cannot take people's brokenness away and people cannot take my brokenness away. But how do you live in your brokenness? Do you live your brokenness under the blessing or under the curse? The great call of Jesus is to put your brokenness under the blessing.

Today in chapel I was challenged with a message of humility. Later on, I was told, when tempted to judge that I should ask myself, "What can I learn from you? What is it about your beautiful self that can teach me grace?"
