1) Knowing I’m not alone, that ultimately, my friends in Christ have ‘got my back’
2) I am, by being baptized into the Body of Christ, necessarily interlocked with every other member
3) Reminds me of the hope of glory
4) Because worship together gives me a taste of heaven on earth, what has entered into ‘now’ and what is ultimately possible
5) To remove me from my egocentricity and assuredness that I’ve got everything right
6) I can only become reconciled/healed with myself and others as I bless others in the Body
7) My story is not my own, and I never know how it can and may offer the hope of Jesus
8) My joy is made complete in the joy of others
9) It teaches me how to love individuals that I don’t choose as friends
10) Allows me to experience grace, in the liturgy, in nature, in relationship
11) Ability to taste and see that the Lord is good and His mercy is over all His works
12) I am fed with the bread of Heaven with the communion of the saints
13) My soul is strengthened and encouraged by the Holy Spirit as the Body gathers
14) I am given sustenance by the life of Jesus in others
15) Teaches me the hard work of loving myself as well as my neighbor
